Over the years, we as a family ministry have literally witnessed God's miracles, small and large come to pass especially when it comes to service for Him. There has never been a time when He has let us down. Sure we have let Him down, but God has never let's us (anyone) down... ever. That's why part of the theme of our family ministry is Nothing is Impossible with God.
Our 2021 Philippines Mission came about near the end of 2019. The pandemic hit in 2020, and our thoughts were initially... is 2021 mission still possible? We constantly brought it to the Lord in prayer during lockdown. And as before, He gave us confirmation that it is definitely going on again. So here we are, planning, and moving forward. We will be going for at least 1 year to the Philippines. The time that we are there, the following will be taking place:
*Small group evangelism
*Medical Missionary work
*Helping hands ministry
Will be sending updates on our blog page. Thank you again for your support through prayers and donations.
Plans of an orphanage on the Island of Mindoro are taking place. Instead of calling it an orphanage, we will be calling it a "Home" or "Church Home". We have been given a unique opportunity to start a Home for orphans, with land God willing to be used for cultivation and agriculture to help sustain the orphanage and projects for it.
This was put on hold because of the current situation.
We will be joining training sessions in April to do with small group training, on aiding members of the church to be the arms, hands and feet for the Lord. Rather than a few doing the work, all doing the work - to finish the work.
Because of the current climate, evangelism will be happening in a very practical way - small group sessions, feeding the poor, helping and tending to their physical and mental needs.
Part of this also will be health checks as many in these areas cannot afford even a basic health check, so these will be invaluable to them.
This will be part also of the JRPM Foundation. To educate even though in poverty, they need not live with a poverty stricken mindset.
An already on-going ministry on visiting those in prison, bringing the good news of the gospel to set them free even though behind bars - they can be saved and set free by the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
We have been given another unique opportunity to start a health and wellness center (Medical Missionary outpost) on the Island of Mindanao. This is part of a long term health and wellness program for the Philippines.
Already there has been land purchased for building churches for those many who gave their lives to the Lord in 2019 and after.
We presented our first Philippines Mission at the Filipino International SDA Church on August 19th 2017.
